Clean the surface carefully to make it smooth and free of odd objects.
The groundwork surface must be coated with a primer, 03-0.5 kg per meter, using brush or roller. Let it dry up.
Unroll the Hydrostop membrane half-way and align the side laps. Single plasticized layer for bonded bituminous system. Start laying at the lowest point of the roof and progress to the highest point.
Side overlaps must be at least 8 cm. End overlaps must be at least 10 cm.
Re-roll in alignment before torching.
The Hydrostop membrane is bonded by using gas torch. Use flame to heat substrate & underside to softening points. When the printed film nearly disappears, roll forward & press firmly to bond.
Flame to be applied in L movement where 60% of heat is applied to roll and 40% to the substrate. Heat both laps & use round tipped hot trowel to seal overlap.
Excess compound should be smoothened & pressed into seam using hot trowel.
Double plasticized layer for bonded bituminous system.
Top Hydrostop membrane side overlap must be staggered in comparison to the bottom layer to improve quality solution.
Both Hydropstop membranes are bonded by using gas torch.
All angels & abutments upstands should be sealed with extra care to ensure perfect bondage.
Double layer self-protected adhered bituminous system.
Side overlap is defined in mineral finishing Hydrostop membrane.
Align the end lap.
Mineral must be removed in bottom Hydropstop membrane where end overlap is done in the mineral finished membrane.
All angles & abutments upstand should be sealed with extra care to ensure perfect bondage.
